Growing Natives Garden Tour


Greeters’ Duties

 

All Greeters are expected to:

  1. ✦Attend volunteer orientation on Zoom.

  2. ✦Arrive 15 minutes before your assigned shift, pick up t-shirt.

  3. ✦Wear your t-shirt, identifies you as with the tour.

  4. ✦Morning: help owner with setup.

  5. ✦Greet newly arriving visitors.

  6. ✦Ask each visitor to sign the guestbook for our records. Only the first name is needed, and only 1 member of party needs to sign.

  7. ✦Point out free literature and garden talk(s) if any.

  8. ✦Ask visitors to enter comments after visiting the garden.

  9. ✦Tally visitor count per page as it fills up.

Additional duties of the afternoon greeters:

  1. ✦Tally grand total visitor count, record on first page of guestbook.

  2. ✦Tally donations; record amount on first page of guestbook.

  3. ✦Place donations and donation sign in the provided envelope.

  4. ✦Help garden owner with tear down.
